Shared Landscape: Collaborative Tangram – Zona Nord
Zona Nord, Barcelona, 2025
In December 2025, I collaborated with Rebobinart on Shared Landscape: Collaborative Tangram – Zona Nord, a project within the Nou Sentit Urbà programme. The initiative brought together five educational centres to reflect on school life and the neighbourhood through urban art.
To ensure broad participation, idea boxes with questions about the school and the area were distributed across the centres, collecting students’ drawings and reflections that informed a collective artwork.
The process culminated in an Urban Lab, where students from all centres explored different urban art practices and co-created a large-scale banner expressing their shared ideas and visions.
From this collective imagery, a symbolic and educational tangram was created for each school: a large-scale piece reflecting the values, ideas and neighbourhood elements contributed by the young participants. Composed of seven interchangeable pieces, the tangram encourages play, creativity, collaboration and a strong connection to the local territory. Each artwork is now permanently displayed within its school, reinforcing visibility, participation and a sense of belonging.
