NOW THEN! Tadcaster Street Art Project

Tadcaster, Yorkshire 2025

Street art project for creating inclusive, community-centered artwork that speaks to shared experiences to transform public spaces. Through a series of workshops in primary schools, we explored themes of community, belonging, and identity through books and literature, which led to the first mural at Tadcaster Public Library. The second was created in collaboration with youth groups at Tadcaster Barn, a youth community centre, and the third with members of Tadcaster Albion Football Club. Each artwork reflects a unique facet of the town’s character and environment.
