MONAR’T FESTIVAL

Mural made by the people from the Community Mental Health Centre from Girona. 

Through 2021 they attended a course of urban art directed by me; a space to meet, dialogue and create where we lived a very intimistic and collective process of creation which helped us to go through our challenges and fears, to end painting it on the wall.

The main theme of this mural is about Mental Health. We are all prone to have a mental health problem related. No matter the age, gender or where someone is from, this collective is often stigmatised and therefore it can cause people that suffer from it to hide out of shame or fear of rejection. It is very clear that there is suffering and we all have the right to a dignified life and wellness. Projects like this help us to give voice to all those people and to fight against the stigma through mental health topics.
